THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK BALCONY ROOM IN PARIS!

The best view of Paris isn’t necessarily from the top of the Eiffel Tower. After waiting in a long line and paying the overpriced entrance fee, the price to get to the top makes the value of the view dwindle a bit. That’s even if you buy the skip-the-line pass! Remember, the most famous landscape view of Paris isn’t complete without the Eiffel Tower in it! So if you’re on the tower, how can you see it!?

I’m not saying the view from the top and the experience isn’t worth it. I simply recommend you save yourself the expense and get a room with an incredible balcony instead! The view from a room with a balcony, better yet, a rooftop balcony, is unlike any other.

Hotel R. Kipling

Hotel R. Kipling by HappyCulture is on Rue 65 Blanche in Montmartre, right up the street from Moulin Rouge. It’s super easy to get to by train from the airport and seamlessly accessible to the rest of the city by walking, train, or the local bus.

I actually found this adorable room on Airbnb, but you can also book directly through the hotel. If they quote higher than Airbnb, tell them you found it for cheaper and they will most likely match your price. You absolutely have to book this rooftop balcony room.

Hotel R. Kipling’s Best Bang for Your Buck Balcony Room in Paris!

Wake up super early to sit on your private balcony in Hotel R. Kipling‘s fluffy robe and slippers, while the sun rises on the most stunning city. Experience the buildings’ vibrant colors come to life while the city is still sleeping. Start the day by pouring yourself a mimosa while you plot out your Parisian adventures from your birds-eye view of the city!

After you’ve walked the city finding all the local attractions of your neighborhood and other highlights of Paris, have a glass of wine on your balcony, and unwind while taking in the sunset. Sitting here, you’ll realize why Paris is so incredibly magical.

I’ve been to Paris multiple times and those memories will always stay with me. However, I can confidently say that having our balcony room at Hotel R. Kipling changed the way I view Paris for the better!

I’ve always thought, It’s not about where you stay, It’s about the experience you have once you get there. Although I still 100% believe that getting out and experiencing the destination is much more important than spending time in your hotel, hotels like this with unique experiences and amenities, have definitely changed my mind and have made me put more of an emphasis on where I stay. In this case, Hotel R. Kipling made our Paris experience!

24 Hr Layover Paris

Paris is an incredible layover city. It’s easy to navigate and there’s so much to see in every individual quarter. Whether you see Paris on a layover or as your final destination, you will likely realize it will take multiple trips to cover all Paris has to offer.

I love long layovers and the ability to explore another country/city on the way to your final destination. I know people try to avoid layovers, but there’s so much you can do in a short amount of time, so use it to your advantage as an opportunity to see somewhere you’ve never been!

Montmartre

Montmarte is a very cool area of Paris located up on a hill. Not only is it home to the Moulin Rouge and nightlife, but it’s known heavily known for its artistic history. Near the end of the 19th century/beginning of the 20th century, many artists lived, had studios and worked in Montmartre. Vincent van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec to name a few. Therefore, the area is still extremely artistic. In the beautiful little plaza of bistros up by The Sacre Coeur Basilica, artists line the square and have their art out for display. You can even get a quick portrait done by one of the talented artists.

The Sacre Coeur Basilica is a gorgeous church up on the hill that you can sit on the steps in front of for a picnic overlooking the city. There’re also some incredible and adorable bistros in this area that are perfect to sit outside, admire the beauty of Paris, and enjoy a glass of wine and escargot.

The Jardins du Trocadero and the Fountain of Warsaw

Also, if you’re in Paris in the summer, do not miss the fountains in front of the Eiffel Tower! The Jardins du Trocadero and the Fountain of Warsaw turn into a big summer pool party. People are walking around selling wine, champagne bottles, mixers, and snacks! We happened to stumbled upon it, so I just swam in my romper, but next time I’ll be prepared and wear my bathing suit! This place is incredible!

The Jardins du Trocadero and the Fountain of Warsaw come to life in the summer by turning into a huge pool party! People are selling bottles of Champagne and wine and everyone is having a blast! This is a must-see in the summer in Paris.

In Short!

Next time you’re in Paris, book the Balcony room at Hotel R. Kipling! Explore Montmartre and all the different Quarters, and unique neighborhoods Paris has to offer. End your day by sitting on your balcony and enjoying the best little sunset spot in the city.
